1. Introduction

Priora HQ ("we", "our", "us") is a task management application available at priorahq.com. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data responsibly. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we use it.

2. Data we collect

When you use Priora HQ, we collect:

  • Account information: Your name, email address, and profile photo from Google or Apple Sign-In.
  • Task data: Tasks, categories, projects, teams, and other content you create within the app.
  • Google Calendar data: If you choose to connect Google Calendar, we access your calendar events to create, update, and delete events linked to your tasks. We only access the primary calendar and only manage events created by Priora HQ.

3. How we use your data

  • To provide and operate the task management service.
  • To sync task deadlines with your Google Calendar (only when you explicitly connect it).
  • To authenticate your identity via Google or Apple Sign-In.

We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal data to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

4. Google Calendar access

Priora HQ requests access to the Google Calendar API with the scope calendar.events. This allows us to:

  • Create calendar events when you sync a task with a deadline.
  • Update calendar events when you modify a synced task.
  • Delete calendar events when you remove a synced task.

Calendar access is optionaland only activated when you click "Connect Cal" in the app. You can disconnect at any time. We do not read, store, or analyze your existing calendar events.

5. Data storage

Your data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore, hosted by Google Cloud Platform. Access is protected by Firebase Authentication and Firestore Security Rules, which ensure users can only access their own data (or shared organization data they are members of).

6. Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your tasks, categories, and other content at any time. To delete your account entirely, contact us at the email below.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data.
  • Delete your personal data.
  • Disconnect Google Calendar access at any time.
  • Export your data in JSON or CSV format from the app.

8. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Firebase Authentication: For Google and Apple Sign-In.
  • Cloud Firestore: For data storage.
  • Google Calendar API: For optional calendar sync.
  • Firebase Hosting: For serving the web application.
  • Stripe: For payment processing on paid plans. Stripe handles all card data directly — we never see or store your card details.
